Led a headquarters organization comprised of a diverse staff with multiple skill sets and missions. Responsible for the health, welfare and operational readiness of all assigned personnel. Battalion Assistant Operations Officer: Translated the commander’s intent into written products that allowed subordinate units to work in conjunction to achieve the mission. Planned and coordinated all training events and operations prior to execution, then managed the synchronization of assets during execution of the event in support of Operation Enduring Freedom from May 2008 to February 2009.Battalion Human Resource Manager: Supervisor of all human resource functions for an organization with over 900 members. Responsibilities included performance evaluations/awards, promotions, staffing, legal actions, military pay and postal functions. Direct supervisor of eight personnel.Platoon Leader: Leader of a 16 member platoon with 4 Abrams tanks. Planned and conducted comprehensive training and certification programs. Planned and led combat and security operations while deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom from Dec 2005 to Dec 2006.
