I have experience in a wide range of analytical techniques, both quantitative and qualitative, and experience of environmental governance from national legislation to international environmental forums. I'm particularly interested in how competing visions of sustainability manifest in both decision-making forums and more widely in society, including the strategies through which a diverse array of actors ensure their agenda is reflected in successful global policy. I'm currently working with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) through my PhD, and as a member of their Commission on Environmental, Economic and Social Policy (CEESP), investigating the motions process (a means of collaborative cross-sector policy creation) to explore these ideas.
