Being in the preload means being in early (4am-9am is the time given when I first saw the job listing) and loading package cars for the drivers who serve the Butte, MT and surrounding area. There are 4 main positions that are part of the preload: unloader, loader, SPA, and exceptions capture. I've had the chance to work at each position in my time with.

Floorstaff for the Reel Theatre is the general employee. We are tasked with greeting the customers first thing when they walk in with a nice, welcoming atmosphere and to make sure that their experience is enjoyable from the moment they set foot in the lobby, to the time they walk out the exit doors. This is achieved by maintaining very clean facilities.

Butte, Montana

As a student employee, I was only allowed to work part time, which worked much better with my class schedule with the added benefit of being within walking distance of my classes. For the Technical Services Department, I was put in charge of receiving, labeling, sorting, and shelving of all magazines and journals, federal documents, state documents.

As the assistant manager, I gained lots of valuable knowledge about how to manage not only my own time on the clock, but also other's as well. My roll on the management staff included but was not limited to scheduling employee shifts, movie scheduling, projection maintenance, auditorium maintenance, POS maintenance, weekly inventory, and weekly reports.

I worked the early morning shift and was part of the team that unloaded all the freight out of the back of the delivery semi. Once all freight was off the semi and in the receiving room, we would start to unload the freight from its shipping containers and send it out to the main floor to be organized and stocked.

As the groundskeeper for Bethany,I did basic landscaping and was in charge of maintaining all lawns, trees, shrubbery, and flowers. I worked my own schedule and was contracted to work 10 hours a week.
