Responsible for CMBS and Balance Sheet loan origination.

Responsible for the oversight and management of a sub-performing and REO loan portfolio of commercial real estate loans and assets secured by all asset types. Duties included oversight of acquisition due diligence, internal allocation of assets, and strategic planning to maximize return to investors. Responsibilities included the oversight of the agreement to ensure the compliance of the agreement and the management of the acquired assets. The assets managed included loans, securities, real and personal property and subsidiaries. Responsible for loss share oversight of five failed bank portfolios with an asset balance of approximately 5.7 billion dollars.

Reviewed bank portfolio loan files for policy and procedural irregularities during scheduled bank examination. Evaluated underwriting and credit administration practices on loans and performed unbiased analysis of loan quality. Evaluated financial institution management performance on correcting issues identified in formal and informal enforcement actions related to the lending function. Rated individual loans based on current data and credit review and analysis. Discussed concerns regarding specific loans and communicated the results of the financial analysis. Monitored and evaluated new developments and regulations affecting the industry.

Also provided services as a consultant for Prescient, Inc., a contractor for the FDIC, for bank closures and bank owned real estate at failed financial institutions for work out alternatives.
