I enjoy being involved in the academy and research as much as possible; I actively support local universities with guided visits to the plant and conferences. I am a part-time lecturer on some aeronautics subjects.I coordinated a collaboration agreement between Latecoere and Instituto Tecnológico de Hermosillo, hosting several engineering interns in 2020-2021.I mentored several engineering interns during my time at Latecoere.

A composites structures supplier for the main airframers worldwide such as Boeing, Bombardier, and Lockheed Martin. I had the opportunity to build and lead the Engineering, Production, and Quality teams from organizational and technical standpoints. As a brand-new company, the team had to execute and provide technical support to acquire and maintain certifications such as AS9100D and Nadcap accreditation program, including the creation of the entire Quality Management System, procedures, documents, best practices, manufacturing, inspection, and testing methods. The team carried out different Qualification and Accreditation Processes with Boeing and Bombardier, as well as fabrication and testing of composites parts and assemblies per customer specifications, transferring production lines from foreign sites. As a result, it was born a certified/accredited aerospace company capable of manufacturing composites structures for the aviation market. Worth to mention that the Technical Team (Engineering, Production & Quality) got recognition from customers (Boeing & Bombardier) and regulatory agencies such as PRI Institute (Nadcap) and AS9100D Quality reps for exceeding expectations.

Lead the Manufacturing Engineering team in the day-to-day activities, production support, and qualification/introduction of new programs. Provide guidance and develop the technical role of the team. Lead the development, implementation, and deployment of internal engineering department procedures and best practices, along with the manufacturing team. Technical guidance/assistance to Management and the organization as required. Responsible for the manufacturing/engineering processes and projects in the fabrication of composites components and assemblies. Mass Properties experience with aircraft engines such as CGs calculations, Statistical / Probability assessments and prediction of future scenarios, Weight tracking, and Work with FAA to achieve certification requirements.➢ Contributions: Responsible for 3 commercial programs and 3 military programs. Technical participation and support to the team's growth. Quality Metrics about 95% OTD & FTY. Recognition from customers and counterparts. Added value and market improvements to key products (impact on sale campaigns).➢ Teamwork: I had the opportunity to lead projects inside my team; manage project budget and distribute workload among the team members, and handle customer needs achieving the organization's goals.➢ Initiative. An assembly shop visit in the USA was intended for a quality event in one of my Engine Programs. Participating in such an event allowed me to better know my product, besides reinforcing my network. This was possible because I created the opportunity (contacting people, selling the idea to my manager, and inviting other colleagues of related teams); as a result, the team played a good role and gained recognition from Manufacturing and from the customer (Boeing).
