Dr. David G. Twitchell, is an instructional design and development specialist. He spent 5 years as Program Manager of Instructional Design and Development for the US Air Force. He has worked in analyzing, designing and developing large training efforts for General Dynamics, Tandy Corporation and government and industry for over 25 years. His abilities in analyzing education and training needs and prescribing workable, efficient, technologically sound solutions have attracted Fortune 500 companies. He has consulted with Datamat Systems Research Inc., Bell & Howell, American Airlines, SunAmerica, Franklin Covey, Novell and others. He has published two books on instructional design theory and has also been published in conference proceedings, journals, and government publications. He has presented in numerous national and/or international conferences. Dr. Twitchell has taught distance education courses through Utah State University for many years and has collaborated with leading professionals in the field of Instructional Design and Development. He has designed and assisted in the development of hundreds of Web-Based Courses including courses for the US Small Business Administration, US Health and Human Services, and Franklin Covey and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
