• Provide technical leadership on a team charged with verifying compatibility between RF-based Smart Meter products and multiple software applications.• Act as a senior advisor to cross-functional product development teams through all phases of development - helping to ensure our Hardware and Software offerings are testable, compatible, and meet all functional, system, and marketing requirements. • Responsible for defining the overall test approach for Software or Firmware releases, by defining Test Plan Documents, executable ADO (Azure DevOps) Test Suites with Test Cases that have sufficient detail, are properly implemented, and deliver consistent/reliable results, to ensure all system-level requirements are adequately validated prior to release.• Support the Automation team as they automate manual test cases and add them to the automation suite. • Identify new tools and define new processes with an eye toward improving the effectiveness of our test efforts and/or reducing time-to-market while maintaining a high level of product quality.• Provide cost and time estimates to development teams, managers, and senior stakeholders.• Design, construct, and configure test stands consisting of energized electrical components interfacing with cloud-based servers.• Generate and monitor metrics to measure the effectiveness of the engineering test process.• Coordinate test activities with project engineers, development personnel, and system engineers - including estimations and tracking to a schedule.• Work within tiger teams to diagnose, reproduce, and troubleshoot issues encountered in the field.• Help improve and maintain testing methods, processes, procedures, and standards.

• Architected the test engineering business function, responsible for execution of comprehensive prototype and validation test plans for all new product development and existing product support projects, resulting in the launch/improvement of products that have generated over $400 million/year in revenue and < 3% Return Rate.• Implemented the test development process, resulting in 75+ test systems/standards that flexed and aligned with ever-changing business priorities.• Employed LEAN initiatives to measure throughput and identify improvement opportunities, within my team and more broadly across Engineering, Product Management, and Marketing.• Harmonized the integration of two distinct business functions, Engineering Performance Testing and Quality Reliability Testing into one Engineering Test Team, enabling predictable test data output that aligned with a 1-3 year Product Roadmap.• Facilitated and defined key-processes across the entire Organization. Examples being Engineering Resource Management, Marketing Claims Development/Documentation, and NPD Process Refinement. • Initiated and facilitated over 20 Kaizen events; resulting in time savings of over 600 man-hours/year.

• Defined and Managed the Engineering Performance Test Team, composed of Electrical and Mechanical Test Engineers, and Test Technicians. • Composed Team Methodology by writing job descriptions and process networks; interviewing, hiring and training staff; implementing data integrity best practices based on ISO 17025.• Architect of the Test Request process, which has output 2500+ documented Tests since 2013, including Reliability, Performance, Compliance, and Competitive Test Categories.• Initiated and completed 20+ Process Definition and Improvement efforts, by writing SOPs and WIs , and Training personnel across the entire organization, directly impacting Corporate KPIs related to waste reduction and efficiency improvements.• Program Managed test lab layout improvement to meet the demands of the various groups reflected by a new Engineering Department structure, resulting in satisfying all internal needs and saving $250k in construction costs.• Program Managed development of the Automated Life Test System used for evaluating end-of-life reliability for all blender products.

• Applied Test Development knowledge to improve Test Efficiency and Data Integrity in Engineering.• Integrated multiple test systems, which independently measured power, speed, temperature, and sound, into a single-System providing a more efficient understanding of product design and performance for Engineers and Product Management.• Developed simple and effective bench tests for Operations to ensure manufacturing integrity by reducing churn/waste, and improving the customer experience.• Collaborated with Product Management and provided a tool to help ensure documented recipes would not create a negative user experience due to machine overheating.• Performed On-Site customer evaluations of pain points to inform root-cause analysis and improvement • Designed and developed Prototype software for MBS (Modular Blending System) Product
