Hi I'm David! From when I was young I was always fascinated with media and how it impacted me. I could get swept up in high fantasy blockbusters or lose myself in a sci fi strategy game. My dream back then:I want to be a part of that, making something like that and touching someone else like that.I dabbled in filming, editing and even scored a physical copy of the AutodeskEducation Suite 2011. (This still stands proudly in my cabinet)I was hooked, without any real knowledge of how and where to look for tutorials, I started in the manual and tutorials of autodesk themself.This started my hobby and now my career path of becoming a 3D game artist!Many tutorials and personal challenges later I eventually I started my study at the HKU (Hogeschool voor de kunsten Utrecht). Here I blossomed in an environment where I could share my passion and knowledge with others. Here I also started working in industry standard software which was a blast to learnCurrently I have a very strongunderstanding of hardsurface modeling since this is what I've been mostly doing since I was young. Now I've also started sculpting and am really keen to push myself more to try more characters and especially creatures.I'm really looking forward to have an oppertunity to work and learn with people in the industry. Perhaps even being able to be a tiny part of something greater, the first step to my goal.
