Started producing plug-ins (add-ons) to LightWave3D in the early 1990s for a startup called Dynamic-Realities, including Particle Storm (particle system), IMPACT! (rigid body dynamics), NatureFX (oceans, atmosphere), Pyro (volumetric fire), Trees & Bolts (trees and lighting), and many others. A cross-platform environment included: Amiga, Windows (for Intel, DEC Alpha, MIPS), SGI, SUN, and macOS. I helped with end-user support, trade shows, and advertising, as well. I transitioned to developing LightWave3D itself in the early 2000s and have continued in that role into 2020. The short version of contributions include: localization system, unicode support, virtual studio, FBX asset interchange, dope editor, HiDPI GUI, and multithreading capabilities. As a liaison between end-user artists and third-party developers and internal developers, I had a unique experience that bridged the typical concept of a software engineer.I am continuously meeting challenges and learning something new every day.At AlphaPixel, I helped produce a system for simulating lunar images to prepare for the next moon landing. I also converted a Java symbol generator to C++ for much faster use on Windows, macOS, and Linux.I also have extensive experience "crypto mining", including hardware and software setup.
