As a Test, Adjust, and Balance (TAB) Technician, I ensure the optimal performance of HVAC systems. I test system performance using specialized calibrated equipment to measure airflow, pressure, temperature, and humidity. I adjust HVAC components and calibrate controls to achieve desired performance levels, implementing corrective measures to address inefficiencies. I balance airflow and hydronic flow in systems to ensure even distribution throughout buildings, using calibrated tools and documenting procedures for compliance.My technical skills include proficiency in using equipment such as anemometers, hydronic manometers, and flow hoods, along with a thorough knowledge of HVAC systems and industry standards like ASHRAE and AABC. I have hands-on experience with TAB processes for various building types, interpreting technical documents, and troubleshooting system issues. I strictly adhere to safety protocols and regulations, ensure compliance with relevant codes, and maintain accurate records of all activities.Effective communication with project managers, engineers, and clients is crucial in my role, as is collaborating with other trades. I provide clear reports summarizing TAB activities and outcomes, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and satisfied with the results. My background also includes service as a member/veteran of the United States Marine Corps, which has instilled in me a strong work ethic, discipline, and attention to detail.
