-Part of a school turn-around team tasked with mending a crippled institution following a corporate takeover. -Implemented all aspects of starting and growing a school, from Admissions to Graduation, as the school grew from 368 students to 730 in only 18 months. -Managed student welfare and discipline from Pre-K to 12th Grade; interacting with over 67 different nationalities and backgrounds to create a ‘culture of kindness’, overseeing the creation and introduction of a student-centred progressive discipline system. -Initiated new procedures for report cards and both the adaptation and population of an online grade book portal. -Led staff meetings, assemblies, and whole-school celebrations. -Co-ordinated two international field trips, regional trips and daily activities for Secondary school week of experiential learning. -Supervised and helped evaluate faculty; created duty schedules and daily internal substitute cover. -Taught Advanced Placement English Literature course to Grades 11 & 12 for two months during staffing shortage. -Increased overall security measures by fixing and monitoring the school CCTV network. -Recent GEMS Inspectors praised the school turnaround as ‘nothing short of miraculous’ given the time frame.

-Multi grade level English Language Arts Teacher, adapting The College board’s Springboard curriculum to design and implement engaging lessons. -With both 6th & 7th grade, students’ Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test scores successfully increased each year. In 2011-2012, received the highest student test scores of all 7th grade Language Arts teachers in the school. -Part of school technology initiative, incorporating Apple iPads into daily classroom experiences for students. -A Team Leader since 2011, managing 5 teachers and 130 students across all subjects in addition to regular classroom responsibilities. -Stepped into management of entire 7th grade, 565 students, as needed on a substitute basis. -As Head Soccer coach, managed all aspects of the school’s soccer programme from tryouts, training, travel and coaching. Achieved school's first Girl’s Soccer Championship Banner, and took both girls and boys teams to county Finals.

-Taught Valencia Community College’s ‘Intensive English Program’, for intermediate and advanced levels of college-age English language learners from all nationalities. -Additionally, taught ‘Open Enrolment’ courses for adults, ranging from beginners to advanced, managing three different classes in three different locations.
