Worked in the group of Prof. Stefanie Barz. Working on the PhotonQ project which aims to realise a silicon-on-insulator measurement-based quantum processor. Responsibilities include development of nonclassical (SPDC) light sources, interfacing with integration team, and organisation and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate researchers.

Doctoral student under the supervision of Prof. Gerald Buller working across three projects resulting in two academic journal publications to date and one patent application (currently at PCT stage). Submitted and successfully defended the thesis "New Devices and Techniques for Quantum Information".

Part of a large team leveraged to support IBM Mainframe environments of clients across the EMEA region. Within this, I worked as a member of a tight-knit team specifically supporting a hierarchical database and transaction management system, IMS. My responsibilities were the diagnosis and repair of issues in a timely fashion as well as the provision and implementation of solutions for client service requests.

Worked under the School of Physics and Astronomy's Principle Teaching Fellow; responsible for the development of interactive animations to be used in conjunction with modules taught within the school.Plotted and exported images using Wolfram Mathematica and produced animations using Adobe Flash Professional (with coding in Action Script 2 and 3). Worked with renowned experimental physics group assisting in the installation of a new experiment; my responsibilities included procurement of specialised equipment for the lab, 3D CAD modelling, mathematical modelling for predictive spreadsheet analysis, and experience in working with clean parts (for Ultra-High Vacuum).
