As the State Agribusiness Manager for Qld, I am responsible for the coaching and development of the ANZ Agribusiness staff throughout the state, which includes management and pre-management positions. These bankers are considered Agribusiness Specialists and together we are responsible for maintaining, improving and growing the ANZ Agribusiness Brand and subsequent market share as well as maintaining the focus on holistic client relationships. My responsibility is to drive this success for the state.With 30 plus years of finance experience throughout regional Australia, I have obtained a very broad experience in all aspects of banking including retail management, business management and of course agribusiness management and leadership.In having previously been responsible for the leadership and management of large scale portfolios (ie Lending circa of $250 Million), I have been exposed to various aspects of agribusiness banking and industries including large scale beef, sheep, chicken, sugar, grain, fruit, vegetable, orchards and many more. Other experience also includes corporate agribusiness, manufacturing (i.e. wineries) and of course, various services to agriculture.I am very passionate about supporting, coaching, developing and providing direction to a team that has a "can do" attitude, is full of enthusiasm and has a desire to learn and succeed.
