As a Publications Specialist, provides overall word processing and light editorial support as a member of SURVICE’s Business Compliance Department (BCD). Processes and prepares technical reports for customers, company-internal reports, company processes and policies, and formal proposals for publication. Responsibilities include formatting documents, creating templates, implementing editorial changes, publishing final electronic and hardcopy documents, and maintaining electronic publication sites.As a member of the BCD, assists in updating and maintaining all of the company’s employee resumes to current and standard format, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Has captured and archived several years’ worth of compliance/acknowledgement signatures for Safety, Conflict of Interest, Sensitivity Awareness, and Business Ethics training sessions into a central SharePoint database. Updates, revises, and maintains format for company processes and procedures and verified that all currently published processes and procedures are in proper format and up-to-date. Assisted with creating a new “Emergency Action Plan,” and overhauled and reformatted the various “Corporate Safety Program” documents into a consistent, clean, and uniformed format.As a member of the Technical Editing Team, assists with many proposals, including Small Business Innovation Research (SBIRs), National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC), and Indefinite Quantity (AA IDIQ) Contract efforts. Also assists with numerous documentation efforts, including document formatting, creating templates, and implementing editorial changes. Regularly processes and formats classified (SECRET) documents for the U.S. Army Environmental Center (AEC). Additional duties include preparing monthly DSIAC Progress Reports for delivery, creating/updating/maintaining and housing various software “model” letters and disc labels for the DSIAC operation.Maintains SECRET Clearance.
