• Leading a multidisciplinary engineering and design team consisting of industrial designers, mechanical and electronics engineers.• Working with both internal and external manufacturers to deliver parts and products consisting of fabricated stainless steel, injection molded polymers, cast and extruded aluminum and electronic assemblies.• Responsible for managing, planning and executing new product development strategies.• Responsible for development and implementation of new product pipeline processes including ideation funnel, selection and implementation.• Responsible for development and promotion of Lean competencies and practices in the Engineering team.• Responsible for leading and developing Project Management processes and competencies within the Engineering team.• Responsible for product compliance across the product life-cycle. Work with third-party certification bodies to ensure products meet the requirements of CE, UL, NSF and other regional requirements.• Responsible for managing Governmental support for R&D activities through Enterprise Ireland.
