Analysis the potential customer’s credit risk: Study corporate customers’ financials and conduct financial analysis, read collateral appraiser’s valuation report on the security, applying a discount rate and decide security value. Based on the information provided by the customer and Corp Department, prepared for the credit analysis report and grant credit opinion, i.e setting facility conditions on the credit proposal made by Corp department. Submit the final credit report to Branch / Head office Credit Committee for reference, grant the presentation for the credit opinion, reply and explain the question or concern from credit committee member, raise internal suggestion and so on.Assign internal credit grade to VTB Shanghai’s corporate borrowers based on the Branch’s corporate score card system developed. Participate in periodic facility risk classification of corporate lending exposures. Keep filing of relevant documents/information based on which the credit/financial risk appraisal of corporate borrowers are prepared. Study and implement corporate lending relevant new regulations promulgated by PRC’s local banking regulators and compile the Branch’s corporate credit policies and procedures in accordance with regulator and VTB Head office requirement.Prepare facility letters/security documents for corporate credit facilities based on standard templates in accordance with the approved terms and conditions. Negotiate with Compliance & Legal department for the wording in the legal document to protect the bank position.Be responsible for the post-loan monitoring, preparing timely post-loan monitoring credit report to the management for the existing customers.Help with collection of non-performing loans when neededDaily management of Credit Department

Independently analyze the credit risk for the accounts which fall into the business department’s approval authority. Review and check for their credit report to detect if there is any potential risk in the credit facility. Submit the credit analysis & evaluation report accordingly to line manager, and send early alert and rectification suggestion to relative RM for those risky accounts when needed.Pre-review the submitted corporate lending applications from business department. Independently analyze the credit risk of the clients through financial reports, credit record, industry, public information etc. Prepared the primary evaluation and make report to senior credit approver for reference and further decision. Together with the senior approver to communicate with the business department for the loan structure and facility condition setting, site-visiting, and post-finance risk monitoring. Participate and support in the collection and action taken for Non-performing loan and high risk account. Periodically report to Chief Credit Officer for the internal monitoring corporate accounts’ situation, updating progress and performance.Monitor the corporate accounts in the portfolio. Based on relative negative news, announcement, credit grade change, financial analysis and government policy, send early alert to business department and senior managers, and reminder RM to follow up. Help to arrange for the risk check on the whole portfolio and report the relative risky accounts to the senior management.Collecting macro-economic data and Hengseng’s credit data from other departments or external resources. Based on the whole portfolio, prepare for Hengseng Bank (China)’s credit portfolio risk report for senior management’s usage and reference, which contains large exposure, non-performing loan, industry distribution, facility grade distribution, facility type, etc.
