In collaboration with the customer and supplier, we successfully hosted national workshops to promote such new technology.• Supplied state-of-the-art laser vibrometer systems that became core assets in the Vibration Lab of University of Technology Sydney.• Key account management for Cochlear to maintain and upgrade their online gas monitoring facility.• Managing multi-year OEM projects with defence technology companies such as EOS.

Applied proven Physics/Photonics technologies with innovative engineering design and delivered results for multidisciplinary R&D projects.Highlighted achievements:• Team leader and project manager role in the R&D of borehole shape sensing project for the mining industry.• Managed the R&D, manufacturing and application of an interface force/pressure sensor for monitoring the applied bandage pressure during graduated compression treatments.• Contributed to the R&D and clinical trials of fibre optic manometric catheter for the studies of gastrointestinal tract peristalsis and obstructive sleep apnoea (OSA).• Established and managed a THz spectroscopy capability for food and agriculture industries.• Designed and implemented the upgrade of a THz imagining system.• High sensitivity acoustic sensing using DFB fibre laser technology (also FBGs) for detecting damage related signals in urban water pipe networks.• Produced multiple journal/conference publications and a patent.

• In collaboration with Thales Australia, I conducted R&D for improving the stability and sensitivity of a DFB fiber laser hydrophone array system.• Demonstrated and published a technique for minimizing the noise within an optical fiber interfermetric phase demodulator.
