I am a London-based Director and Moving Image Creative, with over 10 years varied experience working across the film, marketing+advertising, and contemporary art industries. Since 2014 this has variously seen me develop, direct, script and edit documentary content for brands such as Oakley, adidas, Virgin, Reebok and The Body Shop, charities such as Anthony Nolan and Brighter Sounds, and organisations such as The Guardian. In 2016 I began work on my long-gestating feature documentary SMOKING SHORES, which is now approaching completion thanks to funding and support from Truth Department, Ffilm Cymru Wales, Creative Wales and executive producers Michael Sheen (MASTERS OF SEX, FROST NIXON, THE QUEEN) and Sonja Henrici (MERKEL, THE OIL MACHINE). The project was selected for London Film Festival 2023 Works-in-Progress Showcase - https://www.bfi.org.uk/london-film-festival/news/projects-lff-works-progress-showcase-2023 - and will have its festival premiere in late 2024 / early 2025. I also have experience working as an in-house moving image creative for Studio four23, as a script reader and film journalist, and as an associate producer for Portland Green, where I facilitated a variety of film and video projects by leading artists and practitioners such as the Brothers Quay, Simon Keenlyside, Wayne McGregor and Lucian Freud. My short films have screened at film festivals internationally, including my last short OUT FOR A WALK (2016) which starred Matthew Beard (THE IMITATION GAME, THE RIOT CLUB) and Saskia Reeves (OUR KIND OF TRAITOR, WOLFHALL) and which screened at Drama International Short Film Festival, Filmfestival Kitzbuhel and Aesthetica Short Film Festival, amongst others.
