My role involved editing content for NZME's titles, including the New Zealand Herald and provincial publications, across print and online. It involved checking for accuracy, adherence to NZME style and, for the print editions, cutting for length. The role required fast resolution of queries from senior editorial staff, either in person or via email and Slack. During the lockdown I performed this role from home, using email, Slack and mobile phone.
Auckland

Selected articles for Computerworld's print edition and website. Wrote articles, interviewed key figures in the IT industry and attended industry functions. Sent out Computerworld's Top News email newsletter via Ubiquity system. When the editor was on leave the print edition and website were my responsibility.
