HML is one of the UK's leading provider of outsourced third party mortgage administration services. We provide a Basel II solution, helping small building societies gain their approval from the FSA. Responsible for analytical solutions, model building and maintaining current models. These were developed on retail mortgage data with the uks largest data pool. The most recent model in development was for IFRS9. Also managing and overseeing new members of staff on projects. The Senior Data Modeller was responsible for• Develop new models• Maintain current models• Manage junior members of staff• Take responsibility for ad-hoc tasks required promptly for senior members. • Presentations to clients at user groups• Visiting clients with new model propsals

The development of scorecards using SAS and ClementineAssist in the maintenance and development of HML’s behavioural models. Ensuring models are compliant with Basel II legislation.Data analysis using SAS and SQLA liaison point for statistics and behavioural modelling with HML clients and operational staff.Liaising with clients regarding further client specific re calibration of these scorecards.

The data analyst role would analyse the data provided by our clients, prior to be loaded into the Baseline scoring model to make sure as near 100% of the accounts could be scored. Each client paid per single account which could be scored. This role also involved visiting new clients to discuss the benefits of our service and help their IT department extract the exact information we required in order to score their accounts.
