Leading a team of eighty based on 13 sites throughout the UK on owned & contract farmed sites, including our pionering From Farm to Fork project. Responsible for grain marketing, client care, new business, farm performance and environmental management.

Responsible for all farming operations for the Cooperative Farms growing a wide range of combinable and root crops, on owned, tenanted and contract farmed locations throughout the UK on varying soil types. Responsible for all group purchasing deals e.g. agchem, fertilisers and machinery, and also the sale of commodity crops

Joined the CWS Graduate Training Programme in 1985 and "hands on" managed farms throughout the UK until 2000, growing a wide range of arable crops, including mixed estates with dairy units and sheep flocks.Most recent farm managers role was Essex Farms Estate which was 4600 acres of arable and root crops plus contract farm land and a property portfolio of eighty tenanted houses.During this time was also instrumental in setting all the Groups centralised buying and marketing agreements.
