I'm an experienced business lawyer and I specialize in corporate real estate transactional and advisory work for local, regional and national clients.I joined Geldards in 2007, and I now head the commercial property team in the firm’s Nottingham office. I manage the team’s innovative lease renewal group, which provides a dedicated and highly cost effective service for retail sector clients, and which has generated significant cost savings for those clients in recent years.I also lead Geldards' property finance team in the Midlands, working closely with the firm's banking team in representing major banking clients. Additionally, I act for a number of prominent regional and local developers in relation to site assembly, acquisitions and disposals and I undertake real estate investment transactions and general landlord and tenant work for both investors and occupiers.I have practiced in the East Midlands throughout my career, and I live in rural South Derbyshire. I'm a keen (but not especially proficient!) golfer, a former hockey player and an avid football and cricket watcher (and a long-time member of MCC).
