I have over well over 50 years experience in the working environment of FMCG with key roles including all levels of Store Management, Staff Training/Development, Customer Service, Region and Area Support Management and experience in Food Retailing, Shop within a Shop environment, Multi Channel Retail, the DIY Sector, Tiling & Bathroom Products, Customer Service, Stock Management and Warehousing.Also over 35 years experience as a RAF Reserve Officer with 45+ years in total with the ATC/RAF Air Cadets working with young people aged between 12-20 years old and have engaged with Staff from many walks of life, skill sets and Professions.I volunteer some of my time to the local community by being involved with the Huntingdonshire Amateur Radio Society - HARS as Club Treasurer, Publicity Officer and Webmaster. Positions I enjoy doing to benefit our fellow club members.As I move towards retirement I am conscious of the life skills and knowledge I have gained over the many years but do find it hard to pass this on as I find that daily a dis-interest exists in the younger generation which is a shame as it will be all lost when I retire. I have tried many approaches to hand the batten on am and I know I am valuable asset to my employer, for now.
