My responsibilities include purchasing of raw materials used by production, planning production orders based on Sales activity, forecasting future sales and adjusting production schedules accordingly, reviewing daily production orders to insure accuracy of both the materials used (BOM) and the routing or processes required to complete an item, prepare production reports and distribute to the various department managers and supervisors. Through use of Lean manufacturing principles, we have reduced the inventory levels of two product lines by 30%. These reductions offer significant inventory savings and create opportunities for further reductions in lead time. I have recently added Scheduling and Project Management to my experiences and am currently attending advanced training for JD Edwards/ Oracle ERP software.

Shift supervisor of Slice/Dice line in this food prep operation. Responsible for 8-12 employees per shift and occasionally the 3rd shift cleaning shift. I would also insure that the equipment was functioning at an optimum level and schedule appropriate maintenance. Would be responsible for employee evaluations and prepare any for advancement, plan and review the vacation scheduling, and assign the work duties for the shift. I would also be in constant contact with the Quality Technician to insure product consistency. We consistently surpassed production totals of the previous shift.
