Delphix was acquired by Perforce, a DevOps company, in 2024. I am performing the same job at Perforce as I was at Delphix.

Delphix provides enterprise data consumers with lightning fast, safe copies of production data. Masked data is safe and effective data for developers and analysts alike. David manages Delphix’s core data masking product offerings that allow modern enterprises to deliver better software faster while minimizing risk of data theft.

Founded JDEA Corporation to provide critical technical assistance to very large corporate software projects. Most significant project was the Liberty Mutual ExPRS project; a very large CORBA application running on AIX servers using Win95 clients. Key technologies used on the project include Visual C++, IBM C++, Orbix, Sybase, and DB2. Acquired keen understanding of issues facing large corporate IT operations Recognized and corrected deficiencies in client development process that resulted in substantial ongoing cost savings to the project.

Co-founded Subtle Software to develop and market C++ database tools. Subtle’s flagship product provides users with a cost-effective means of leveraging their existing RDBMS technology on C++ development projects. Completed the sale of Subtle to Rogue Wave Software in January 1999. Bootstrapped the company from scratch - successfully performed a wide range of functions in all areas of the business. Gained an invaluable perspective on, and appreciation for, “the art of business”. Found particular satisfaction performing business development and market strategy roles.
