I am a strong leader who has succeeded in my career through building the talent and the teams around me, solving complex problems, communicating effectively, making courageous decisions, and delivering results. Lead the successful implementation of Office 365 and the email/calendar migration of 30,000 global associates from Lotus Notes to Office 365 over a 10 month period at an unheard of migration success rate of 99% (typical target is 87-90%). This project is noted as one of the first large global IT projects for Goodyear. The Senior Leadership Team was impressed with how non-disruptive this change was to the associates and this project has given much credibility to IT and has instilled faith in our ability to execute large and complex initiatives on time and on budget. Fostering team collaboration and alignment, I led the global technical teams to create project plans for service implementation and associate mail migrations to Office 365. This planning included the review and revamp of procedures and processes in support of the Messaging Systems. The global support organizations were engaged in the turnover of these updated processes to ensure Service readiness. Regarding the email migration, I created a migration playbook that the teams worked from to ensure a daily cadence for the migration events and repeat migration success. I was responsible and accountable for every migration event and I used my previous skills in Service Management to push the Microsoft Migration Factory to deliver results at a level higher than anyone from the Microsoft project team had seen before. I worked with the technical teams to develop tools which track replication progress and network health to provide confidence to IT leadership that our global locations were ready for their migration events. Working closely with the Change Management organization, I helped in identifying what training and awareness was required to ensure associates made the transition to the new email platform with minimal disruption. Aligning with the Integration Teams, I ensured that no associate migrated to Office 365 before their workstation and location were reported as ready to migrate.
