I am responsible for ensuring compliance with and filing all required reports related to environmental regulations, due to our being designated as a large quantity generator of hazardous materials. I also am responsible for compliance with and reporting for our Industrial Wastewater Discharge Permit. In addition I am responsible for administering all aspects of the Neuman Aluminum Safety Program.i manage and perform all functions related to wastewater treatment and discharge to the City of Waynesboro, Va.

I had responsibility for all M&C safety functions (including training, accident investigation, program development and also contractor orientations. During this time the client expressed their approval of the improvement in our safety performance and the attitude of our employees about safety.

I was responsible for all OSHA recordkeeping, conducting weekly safety compliance audits, providing all areas of safety training, and managing the respiratory program for the construction and maintenance division. I also was the original manager when KBR took over manufacturing operations at the Waynesboro DuPont site. I helped develop the safety aspects of the transition which are still being used today. I was also a member of the DuPont site safety leadership team. During this time we worked over 2 million man hours without a lost workday.

I also headed a joint committee on Hand Safety, and was the Training Instructor in the following areas: Lead, Line Break, Fall Prevention, Scaffold Erection, Powered Equipment, Respiratory Protection, and Confined Space. Certified as a "Train the Trainer" by Halliburton.
