During my five years as CEO, we: - Increased revenues by 40% and profits by 650%.- Moved from highly leveraged (extended payables and credit lines maximized) to debt-free.- Turned around a key customer relationship representing a large portion of WSM sales. Because of historical lack of support, customer was ready to transition business to a competitor. Under my guidance, we became one of their “strategic suppliers.”- Started up a new manufacturing operation (WSM had closed their factory in 1999) on-time and under budget, and exceeded quality, cost and lead-time goals.- Increased the rating on our annual employee survey from 68% to 83% compared to industry averages of 73-74%- Formed strategic alliances with two foreign companies to market their products in North America.
