Recruiting And Retention Superintendent, Michigan Air National Guard
CurrentPrincipal administrator in the state for Air National Guard programs associated with the recruitment and retention of military members. Serves as the state-level single point of contact for National Guard Bureau Recruiting and Retention (R&R) issues. State-wide manager and Subject- Matter-Expert on all R&R programs. Advises state/wing/unit R&R staff and leadership to assist in overcoming recruiting and retention obstacles and shortfalls. Provides oversight, development and implementation of plans, policies and procedures. Ensures effective operation of state R&R programs as outlined in applicable instructions and higher headquarters publications and directives. Communicate R&R goals to all levels throughout the military structure. - Participates in the hiring process of all R&R personnel and ensures applicants meet all mandatory eligibility criteria listed in the Air Force Enlisted Classification Directory (AFECD). - Maintains oversight of all R&R training programs for the State. Primary trainer of Recruiting NCOIC (RNCOIC), Retention NCOs (RNCO), and Recruiting and Retention NCOs (RRNCO). Ensures all R&R personnel are trained and performing in accordance with (IAW) applicable directives, instructions and procedural guidance. Mentors, provides feedback and establishes accountability for all R&R personnel to meet production/retention goals, standards and ethical conduct.- Serves as the Resource Advisor (RA) for all R&R funds distributed by NGB/A1Y to the state, and overall management of state advertising accounts, in accordance with applicable guidance.- Develops and monitors execution of Recruiting and Retention state-wide strategic planning document and oversees the development of wing/unit/GSU level strategic planning documents.- Analyzes recruiter/retainer productivity, gain and loss trends to determine whether current efforts are effectively supporting attainment of goals specified in the State Recruiting and Retention Plan.
