Responsible for overseeing medium- to large-scale engineering projects related the new introduction process (NPI), manufacturing process improvements, and continuous improvements related to the acoustic transducer products. Projects would often include managing the resources associated with cross-functional teams and traveling to the manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities during this time involved 3 separate positions within the same department. Oversaw the daily activities and provided technical leadership for a group of mechanical engineers and/or engineering support staff (i.e. supervisors, designers, drafters, assembly technicians, buyers and project coordinators). Staff usually averaged between 6 to 10.

During this time, I was responsible for the design, development and implementation of three large-scale transducer assembly lines, along with numerous upgrades to these lines to manufacture new products as they were developed by the transducer group. Project management responsibilities included: line conceptualization and layout, developing cost estimates.
