I am licensed as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHCA) I have experience working with a broad range of clients struggling with mental health issues such as Major depressive episodes, Anxiety, Manic episodes, First breaks with psychotic symptoms, and Suicidal Ideations. I am independently licensed in Ohio as a clinical counselor. I have extensive experience in working in crisis conducting initial assessments, helping clients identify their needed level of care, case management, group therapy, and family therapy. I have routinely managed client escalated situations and helped clients to deescalate. I have guided clients to develop strength-based treatment plans and achieve their treatment plan goals. I am experienced in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and have spear-headed a training session of distress tolerance and provided alternative ways for my colleagues to grow and run DBT groups as well. I also effectively communicated with insurance agencies on a regular basis. Throughout this experience I have most appreciated the opportunity to work closely with my colleagues and collaborate with them regarding challenging situations and developing my clinical skills.
