I currently work with Capita in the role of a Claim Handler for the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. In this role I investigate the suitability of advice given by financial advisors to their customers regarding pension switching and investments. I am responsible for gathering the required and relevant information of the customer’s pension and investments in addition to investigating the suitability of the financial advice given. At the conclusion of my investigation if I have determined the customer has suffered a financial loss due to the advice given, I calculate the loss and look to offer the customer compensation. Attention to detail is essential as I am required to send professional correspondence and complete complex pension and investment calculations. I have gained a vast knowledge of pensions and investments in addition to gaining experience in the financial sector. Due to my high quality of work and attention to detail I have been successfully accredited in pension and investment claims. I have received recognition within the Financial Services Compensation Scheme campaign as I have received star performer awards and from Capita directly where I received a Capita Hero award.

I was successful within the Vodafone as I was promoted to Customer Relations Specialist where I was given more responsibility. In this role I was tasked with resolving complex complaints whilst also restoring trust with the customer. In order to do this, it was essential that I communicated clearly and ensured my work was correct and accurate to the smallest detail in telephony and written communication. I received several positive feedback emails and letters from customers due to not only resolving their complaint but also in restoring trust and faith within the brand.
