During this time I improved my knowledge of turbomachinery and professional engineering. I worked on many different aspects of turbocharging systems, in teams and independently, and was involved in a number of different projects, such as the evaluation of bearings and seals on a testing rig specifically designed for this task. I also had the responsibility for individual smaller experiments, e.g. strength assessment, including planning, safety, performing and evaluation. Another significant task which I was given was the development of numerical testbed models, for this I studied and used a software developed by another department of ABB Turbo Systems and trained my coworkers at the test center in the use of this software and the models I had developed.
