I am currently in my third year of studying a Bachelor of Mathematical Sciences degree, majoring in statistics, at the University of Adelaide. Through this degree, I have become highly skilled in data analysis, coding on MATLAB and RStudio, and problem solving; and I have definitely furthered my love and enjoyment for these skills in statistics. In the future, I would like to pursue a career in data analytics, whether that be a statistician for a sporting team or for looking into criminal data for the government, which would combine my favourite skills into passions that I have always had. In this career, I would like to analyse the data for whoever I work for, and work with a team to go through data for the company (or their clients). This would align with my strengths in organisation, teamwork, and problem solving.I have proven experience working as a tennis coach for the last six months. This has included using my strengths in organisation with class structure, and teamwork through working with the other tennis coaches. Outside of studying and working, I play sport (tennis, netball and basketball), and also play the trombone in a concert band. For the sports I play, I have matches spread out throughout the week and weekended; and for the band, we have rehearsals once a week and perform in the community through pageants or in community church processions throughout the year.
