Lending criteria has changed to affordability, and I enjoy simplifying the process and taking the pain away from clients having to manage the applications themselves. I work with a number of business partners, and provide attractive introductory rates for Accountants, Estate Agents and Solicitors. I am delighted to be part of the KDW team, the company has been established since 1978 and have over 40 members of staff. Recently, the ‘Independent Financial Adviser’ newspaper did a mystery shopping survey and I am delighted to say KDW came first, against several other brokers, in speed of response, Telephone manner, guidance given and knowledge. One of my personal achievements this year is being voted and being a runner up of the ‘Young business person of the year awards’, hosted by the St Albans Chambers of Commerce. I regularly take part in marathons raising money for SADS which is a ‘sudden arrhythmic death syndrome’ charity, last year I ran 3 marathons with my colleagues and together we raised over £9,500 for the charity.
