The key objective of my role is to assist management decision making by providing accurate and well presented financial information on a monthly basis. I maintain strong relationships throughout the business with various key stakeholders and look to continually improve all processes in order to add value.- Monthly preparation of the Business Unit Report to members of the management committee. This includes analytical review of monthly results and redevelopment in line with business requirements through improvement of information available and IT development.- Monthly meetings with all budget holders to review expenses, reforecast full year position and collect budget data. This includes providing accurate management information to ensure budgets remain of key focus and appropriate challenge on full year forecast in line with expectations.- Preparation and control of all accruals and prepayments for each business area to maintain accurate accounting records.- Preparation of monthly management accounts and ensuring tight deadlines are continually met to allow submission to Group Finance.- Monthly preparation of income/expenses/assets models.- Appear as the finance team representative in various business meetings.- Completion of various benchmarking surveys on an annual basis.

The key objective of this role is to maintain and report accurate accounting records of the company for statutory and regulatory purposes. I monitor the income streams to the company and ensure accurate and timely completion of all invoices.Key responsibilities of the role include:Preparation and production of monthly financial accounts for the company.Reporting of monthly results in prescribed formats.Recording and settlement of intercompany balances via direct communication with foreign business units.Maintenance and daily updating of accounting records.Preparation of daily client money reconciliation.Preparation of quarterly and annual FCA returns, including reviewing financial resources.Preparation of all billing to clients.Liaising with various departments around the business and external providers to ensure accurate and timely reporting of data.Preparation of year end statutory accounts in IFRS format including liaising with external auditors.Maintain awareness and understanding of regulatory issues impacting on the company.Produce, review and continually improve all process documentation for the role.

In this role I assisted directly the financial controller and company accountants in a variety of daily and ad-hoc tasks. I assisted with period end journal postings and review whilst also taking responsibility for the insurance and electricity contracts for the business.Key responsibilities of this role include:Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices.Undertaking ad-hoc tasks from the financial controller including wage and VAT analysis, Sales data reconciliations and contract sourcing.Taking ownership for the electricity contracts and maintenance for all stores and head office, along with sourcing potential price savings.Taking ownership for the insurance contracts and assisting with all filed and potential claims.Working directly with external auditors to assist in takeover changes to comply with US GAAP.
