My accountabilities as Director, Operations include supervising the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems. I single-handedly maintain a large office building; while ensuring that all facilities are well-kept, safe, and secure by coordinating, and overseeing contracted vendors including security, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevator, janitorial, gardener, AV, and IT. I spearhead other administrative tasks spanning across providing initial coding, payment approval for all incoming bills, and carefully monitoring employee expense reports for approval. Besides these, I manage construction and renovation projects to enhance the overall coherence and productivity, coupled with ensuring that all provisions meet environmental, health, and security standards, and ensure compliance with government regulations. I evaluate internal processes and implement the requisite changes. I effectively interface with senior level management including SVP and VP of Finance and Operations to review budget and operational reports together with planning, administering, and controlling budgets for contracts, equipment, and supplies. Another part of my responsibilities is to of course commit to being the first point-of-contact for after-hours emergencies and/or security issues.
