Graduated in 1988 from a part time degree and spent my formative years at Alcoa Australia at their 3 WA refinery locations and the Booragoon head office. Left Alcoa in 1996 and spent 5 years in Saudi Arabia on a major steel plant expansion project in project engineering, construction and plant operations roles. From 2001 to 2007 I worked in a field plant engineering role for Qatar Petroleum based in the Dukhan oil fields on major substation and expansion projects. From 2008 thru 2011 I worked at Sinclair Knight Merz in a senior consultants role on various small projects and feasibility studies. Current role at CSBP is a crossover role between small projects and maintenance engineering.I have a good working knowledge of a variety of electrical engineering standards, both local and international, and strong experience in project management, project scoping, execution, commissioning and handover practices on small to large scale projects. I have a good working knowledge of the requirements for procurement and installation of substations, HV/LV switchgear, transformers, motors, drives and industrial L&SP installations.
