About David Yun

Dave Yun is the founder and creative director of New Information, a graphic design studio that creates design ecosystems for culture, commerce and communities. After graduating with an MFA from Yale School of Art, Dave worked at Pentagram and 2x4, where he led a brand identity team for clients including Guggenheim, Samsung, and Bloomberg. He then founded Wax Magazine and Wax Studios, going on to lead projects for MoMA, Levi's, and Nike. New Information currently works with a range of cultural and commercial clients, including Queens Museum, Atlassian, Nike, Monacelli Press, Krink, Urban Outfitters, Ford Foundation, Walker Art Center, Emerson Collective, and Asian American Arts Alliance.Dave has taught at Parsons School of Design and Columbia University GSAPP, and has been a visiting critic at Yale School of Art. His work has been recognized by AIGA, Type Director's Club, Adobe, It's Nice That, and more.
