Qplox, spin-off from NXP semiconductors, was born as a supplier of engineering services to help the rapid prototyping, test and validation of new (micro) electronic assemblies. Currently Qplox is divided in 2 business lines. Our Electronics test Automation group provides product prototyping and turnkey test benches and test automation services based, mostly but not only, in NI technology. There we include our innovative IoT wireless sensor solutions in order to monitor ambient conditions in rough industrial/residential environments. Our high-tech consultancy line provides expertise in test, characterization and validation of electronic high-tech products, including RF, sensors, photonics, telecom or semiconductors. Using Matlab, RF instrumentation and lab bench tools, automate and improve the test environment for RF ICs, analyze the data, report conclusions, implement data-warehousing and a long term test strategy.

Maintaining and upgrading the laboratory test infrastructure in Several NXP sites (then AMS). Coordinating the activities of a Qplox team to keep NXP semiconductor (AMS) test systems fine tuned. Using Labview and design of custom hardware, using Arduino platform to reduce costs and cut deployment time. Following Agile methodology to quickly react to NXP (AMS) requests.

Characterization and validation of analogue and mixed electronics circuitry. Building dedicated test systems using common laboratory instrumentation. Programming test scripts in Python. I am helping to build the specifications of the new design by automating the test systems. Keeping eyes open for possible design improvements.

Design and implementation of end of line test systems, designing custom hardware (design Spark) and software (Labview and Teststand)

Test Architect ---------------------Reference person in the development of electronic devices test systems, as well as expert in design of experiments and test strategy definition including reliability, validation and calibration, for research and pre-production products. These tasks include:• Design and implementation of full custom electronic test systems. (Labview, C#)• Prototyping of test and validation PCB. Research Engineer----------------------------Dealing with to different topics in microelectronic research:• Electromigration in interconnects• Phase Change Memories In all of them my major tasks were focused in the testing and characterization of the new microelectronic devices, in order to improve device reliability and performance. This work gave me the opportunity of filing several patents, journal and conference publications.Test Integration Engineer-------------------------------------I developed the test systems required for the research on the above mentioned topics. These setups required a good knowledge on electronic instrumentation, Labview, data acquisition boards, high frequency and low signal test systems.
