In the marketplace, it's of utmost importance to have strong strategies for advertising, public relations, marketing, web presence and social media. Then you must figure out how it all works together. That's where I come in. I design and build creative marketing campaigns and websites along with display graphics, logos and general creative direction for the company. The other side of my job is dealing with the press. They've got a job to do and I try to help them do it. I line up interviews, provide information and write and distribute news releases which I also post on our company news room site. My ultimate goals are to make us look good while at the same time try to attract new members and help existing ones be more successful.

At Mitchell & Company, my responsibilities included graphic design and creative writing for my clients' ad campaigns, show exhibits and marketing materials. I was also responsible for finding new clients. Mitchell & Company was an advertising agency that held many large accounts in the flooring industry, among others.
