Being a junior studying in the College of Liberal Arts at Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo, I have understood more than ever of what makes me an individual. With most of my friends being in STEM, I have realized that I am creative person who loves involving myself in different design projects. I love to sew, create designs, and edit videos/photos. My main goal is to become a product designer and I am working towards my goal by majoring in the Liberal Arts and Engineering Studies program with an area of focus on product design and engineering.To help myself work up to my goal, I am currently studying mechanical engineering and as well as art/design within my major. Additionally, I am minoring in Industrial Technology and packaging. This major and minor has allowed me the opportunity to learn with a deeper understanding of making products from ideation to manufacturing. Moreover, I also have experience as being a Graphic Designer in different volunteer positions.After college, I wish to expand my experience with people and immerse myself in the creative workspace. I hope I will also be able to travel the world as I love being in and experiencing new cultures.
