Hello! I'm David, a data scientist with an interest in interpreting and explaining data analytics for a broad audience. To me, data science is a way to take the skills and ways of thinking I learned while studying philosophy--rigorous thinking and argumentation, interpreting texts, logical systems--and applying them in a real-world setting to achieve practical results. Especially in the modern world, the classic philosophical search for truth necessitates understanding and using data.When I'm off the clock, I enjoy reading and talking about politics, playing video games, and the NBA.
