I practice business and bankruptcy litigation. My goal is a successful outcome to my client's case. I understand that, for my client, litigation is another problem that needs a solution. Sometimes the goal is to maximize a recovery or minimize a loss. Other times a client may have an important strategic goal that needs to be achieved. I work to understand what the client's goal is so that I can guide the case toward that outcome.I have helped domestic and international companies, large and small, achieve their objectives. These results range from an eight-figure settlement for a European client in a licensing dispute (for a six-figure fee) to successful resolution of a large claim against an Asian client that had threatened the client's financial future.

During my years in sole practice, I worked with small businesses and entrepreneurs to solve their legal problems. I learned how to practice law efficiently and how to craft solutions that fit my client's problems. I also added first-chair trial experience to my skill set.

The Pillsbury firm was where I learned how to be a lawyer. The outstanding lawyers there showed me the ropes and taught me the importance of quality work and personal integrity.

I worked as assistant to the executive director and as a city planner for the Flushing and Kew Gardens areas of Queens. My responsibilities took me from the mayor's office to the living rooms of citizens. I also gave the first video presentation in the history of the City Planning Commission.
