During this period David led a team of employees and contractors that supported Pfizer's Global Regulatory Sciences organization. The work included ensuring systems used in Pfizer's submissions management, publishing and labeling processes met users needs and supported Pfizer's mission of delivering breakthroughs that change patients lives. David had responsibility for this team during the COVID-19 pandemic and Pfizer's successful development and approval of a COVID-19 vaccine.

David worked as the Portfolio Director and Chief of Staff supporting Worldwide Safety, Regulatory & Medical Business Technology, where his operational responsibilities included ensuring efficient coordination and execution of multi-stakeholder programs across the Digital organization. David also provided oversight of the project portfolio, budgets and associated reporting. Part of his role as Chief of Staff was also to organize and facilitate Leadership Team meetings and operational sessions.David's prior Project and Program management experience at Pfizer included leading projects for team as diverse as Clinical, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Human Resources.
