Hosted key local leaders in the Market District Reference Group in a role akin to an Executive Officer. Supported the District win the Great Place Award in 2016. Provided advice regarding:- the Central Market Arcade redevelopment, one of Adelaide's most significant & sensitive development sites.- creating a Carbon Neutral Market District with the Department of Environment, Water & Natural Resources and Climate Knowledge Intensive Communities Australia.- approaching Chinatown's Reinvigoration.Activity undertaken within Economic Development & Tourism on a part time secondment from Planning & Development.

Identified a variety of target audiences - business, resident, environmental, cultural, social - and sought their participation. Over a 12 month period, progressively listened and built aspirations, and ideas into proposals, with professional advice intertwined with community and stakeholder input. Organised website, marketing and workshops, including presenting and 'workshopping'. This lead to the 'Our Market District - the right ingredients for the future' being supported locally and by the Elected Council. This support continues by it being an action in the City of Adelaide 2016 - 2020 Strategic Plan.
