Shortly after the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, I founded USA Patriotism! ... that is all about expressing, sharing, fostering, and enjoying pride of the United States of America in a nonpolitical environment ... along with providing a better understanding about the USA to other countries' citizens!Its daily growing site has a global following without fee-based efforts ... as does its inspiring, informative YouTube channel with thousands of videos already being enjoyed by an expanding subscriber base.I also decided to incorporate USA Patriotism! as a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and establish scholarships associated through an annual patriotic creative contest for 5th-12th grade students covering a variety of areas including poetry, essays, artwork, and videography. And while COVID-19 forced this effort to be placed on hold, it will proceed when the timing is beneficial to do so. Inquiries to become involved with this effort are welcomed.I have also authored two novels, "Mere Chance" and "Cemetery Woods"; two poetry books, "American Pride" and "Waking Dreams"; and, many articles.And my proud heritage includes being related to the Father of USA History, George Bancroft, who also wrote President Abraham Lincoln's eulogy ... and read it to a Joint Session of Congress at the Capitol Building.
