David is the head of KPMG Canada’s Wealth & Asset Management Advisory practice, having transferred from KPMG Australia's Financial Services practice. He has over 20 years of experience in leading transformation programs in the pension, wealth, asset management, and banking sectors. Known for his global perspective and industry insight, David has held leadership roles in M&A, Investment Management, Operations, and Enterprise Transformation. Before joining KPMG, he worked for top financial services organizations, including Australia's largest pension fund. He has led several globally significant transformation programs. In Australia, he led the KPMG Wealth Advisory practice, advised on a AUD $300bn pension fund merger, and led an independent review of a AUD $450m+ Wealth Distribution Platform development program. Before joining KPMG in 2016, he was the Transformation Director at the World's largest Defined Contribution fund, where he was responsible for internalizing investment management. The systems and arrangements he implemented now manage over AUD $200bn across all asset classes. He has also advised boards and executive teams of large Financial Services businesses during complex transformations and significant M&A activity.David currently sits on the KPMG Canada Pension Savings Plan Board.Views expressed are my own.
