Operating as a not-for-profit organization, The Business Link is supported by the Governments of Canada and Alberta, as well as other organizations committed to serving Alberta’s small business community. It is a Member of the Canada Business Network. Whether you are thinking, starting, growing, or transitioning your business, The Business Link helps connect entrepreneurs to the information, support and advice they need to succeed. Services include: personal one-on-one consultations, print and online guidebooks and resources, research services, small business training, networking events, guest advisor program, and other specialty services for the entrepreneur. David has been involved in a number of Business Link programs and initiatives including business plan bootcamps, immigrant mentorship, client services, outreach and strategic marketing.His most distinguishing quality is his love for new ideas. This love, paired with business savvy, has enabled David to successfully implement several ventures which include starting a unique in-home services business, creating a local inventor’s group, and design services.One source of inspiration that continually fuels David’s sensational appetite for ideas, comes from the advice of one of his University instructors – that it is much easier to tone down a wild and crazy idea than it is to spark up a dull one.
