Successful trial run and live conversions.• Converted last three years of Sales History data to fit into SAP’s BW tool. Many hours spent comparing data files to their reporting used in both systems for verification. • Worked with an offshore project team, sending them design documents for coding projects and quality checking code coming in from our delivery team. All in RPG for various interface programs between SAP and the ISeries, fixing any inconsistencies that may pop up after initial testing was complete. • Reworked interface programs that were not fully designed at the outset and added major amounts of code in RPG, taking an interactive programs and making them into a batch environment programs. These were heavily tested and in production. Today these modules are handling thousands of orders daily. • Quality controlled documentation written for all the interfaces and ancillary maintenance programs.• Modified all ancillary programs that were written for maintenance of work and cross reference files.

Heavy custom coding of entry and reporting modules. • Donlen - I was brought on at the end of the project to produce results in a short period of time. All in RPG/400 and CL on the AS/400.• Handy Andy - Converted older version of JD Edwards to newer version on the AS/400.• Marketing Information Systems - Homegrown CRM packaged developed by IBM and maintained by Marketing Information Systems. We were there for ongoing design, coding, implementation and roll-out. I wrote a front end to make query language dynamic in report requests so that it built from passed parameters on the fly in CL. IBM took my front end and used it in several pieces for later projects. • Reynolds Metals - All in house programs at Reynolds. Heavy manufacturing experience. I managed, designed and maintained the Purchasing and Storeroom programs.

While at Village, I learned all my background on retail and inventory control from the owner, Roger Borman.
